“Archeotrekking”, the archaeological walks of the “Walking Museum”
The collection of the National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria “enriches” the outdoor monuments in the area where Palazzo Piacentini stands in the historical center of the city with the project “Archeotrekking”, the “Walking Museum”, in collaboration with the association “Il Giardino di Morgana”. On 2018, Sunday December 9th and 2019 January 6th, the founder and president, Domenico Guarna, will guide the archaeological walks from the Museum to the Aragonese Castle, the two main identifying symbols of the City.
Appointment at 11.00am in Place De Nava, to proceed to the Hellenistic Tomb on the Lungomare Falcomatà, the first leg of the route, and then reach one of the sacred places of ancient Reggio, continuing to the Greek Walls and Roman Baths to end at the Aragonese Castle.
