F@ mu 2018: the whole family at the Museum to play with EnigMArRC and Kore
The National Archaeological Museum of Reggio Calabria takes part in the National Day of Families at the Museum, on Sunday, October 14th, dedicated this year to the theme: “Small but precious”.
The initiative, now in its sixth edition, has the patronage of MiBAC and is the cultural event for families with children most famous in the world. It is a special occasion to participate all together, young and old, to educational activities to promote knowledge of the cultural heritage by experimenting creativity, instead to develop love and interest in art and history through play and imagination.
Throughout the day, from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm: “Play at the Museum. EnigMArRC”, dedicated to children aged between 7 and 11 years, who will discover the “treasures” of the Museum collection and the history of Great Greece on the four exhibition levels, having fun with parents to “find” the smallest exhibits in the windows. Cruxpuzzle, riddles, shangai, sudoku and other plays will accompany the young guests on a journey of fantasy to the origins of the Calabrian cultural traditions.
In the morning, from 10.00 to 12.00 am: an experiential workshop, educational and ludic-creative, for an age group between 3 and 14 years, on the theme of the family in antiquity starting by the myth of Kore-Persephone. You can book at no. 320.7176148 or send an email to: info@koresrl.it.
